DELEADÚS Nights: Plaster of Paris
Following successful sets at the ICA and Bestival, Plaster of Paris gave warmth to November’s Deleadus Night. The duo combine the purr of a folk guitar with a rich and wide ranging operatic voice. Molly Carroll seduces the nodding listener with her tales of love, loss and sex. If Frida Kahlo had been a song writer she would have sounded like Plaster of Paris. With support from Marcus Foster.
‘Hear Us Roar’ was a night devoted to all things Animal. For one night only Deleadús became a zoo filled with weird and wonderful creatures – it was our take on a Halloween Party. Including live performances, music and films by: Zebra World, Jack Catling, Machiko Shikano and the Catavan.
‘I to the Telescope’ was a screening of film and video works by artists who perform to camera. The evening featured works by established and emerging artists, including: Saskia Takens Miilne, Eloise Fornieles, Ellie Rees, George Petrou, Joseph Popper and Robert Storey.

VAULT | Shoreditch Town Hall, London
In collaboration with Esme Baker BASEWITHOUT^ curated an exhibition of work by artists from Chelsea College of Art and The Royal College of Art. The title ‘VAULT’ referred both to the space below the town hall where the show happened and also the word ‘VAULT’ was used to suggest a leap – an action of springing forward. The opening night tied in with ‘First Thursdays’ and saw over 500 visitors.
