Hayley Newman

Hayley Newman

Hayley produces live events, film, video and photography. Her work is as witty as it is critically engaged with the historical placement of performance and modes of documentation. She has performed and exhibited widely including at Matt’s Gallery, Ikon Gallery Birmingham, Camden Arts Centre and Tate Modern. She is perhaps best known by her work ‘Connotations Performance Images’ a series of photographs and texts documenting fictional performances.

Brian Dwan Chalkley

Brian Dawn Chalkley
Brian Dawn is two/one person. Brian makes paintings, Dawn makes videos and performs. Brian edits, constructs and watches Dawn’s world. Dawn is Brian’s alter ego/personae. Brian and Dawn have been making work since January of 1997 when they participated in a group show curated by Paul Noble at City Racing. Since then Dawn has become increasingly active in the art world, in Brian’s world.

Sally O'Reilly Sally O’Reilly

Sally is a freelance writer, critic and event organiser. She contributes regularly to Art Monthly, Frieze, Contemporary, Modern Painters and Time Out. She is particularly interested in the convergence of art and performance, and frameworks within which art and entertainment can co-exist.

Edward Fornieles

Edward Fornieles
Edward runs The Wallis Gallery with Vanessa Carlos, and photographer Ross McNicol in Hackney Wick. The Wallis Gallery is a project space dedicated to creating an ongoing, reputable and critical showcase for undiscovered talent. The Wallis Gallery hosted ‘Making Mistakes’, a performance evening now at Paradise Row. Edward is represented by Paradise Row, London

Rebecca May MarstonRebecca May Marston
Rebecca is the Director of Limoncello Gallery in Hoxton and has worked on the last two Performa Biennials with Rosalee Goldberg. Limoncello runs a programme of lectures, performances and events between gallery exhibitions. The programme offers the gallery artists and the people around them a site to try out ideas.
